Raining Rodeo nickels & Durango silver dollars ---
Saturday

The outlaw fired, hitting the Marshall in his chest. The 45 bullet twanged, ricocheting, slinging bits of a silver star; raising whiffs of dust on Durango's empty street ---
With reports of 200 & 300 plus coin days, I realize my paltry sum of 107 coins in 5 hours won't break any records except for me. What makes my hunt today unique is of the 107 coins 86 were nickels. My best nickel day ever occurred just last week and was 16! The Trinidad Rodeo Arena and Fairgrounds is nothing special. However, during the rodeo, for whatever reason the rodeo clowns toss nickels into the arena for the kids to pick up after the rodeo. Here's a picture of my take, using Little Miss SE with 17.5 Excelerator coil for the last two days which includes a trip back to the church at Cokedale. The only silver I found was someone made a bridle stud out of a 1961 dime Those casings are Starline's 45 caliber blanks. The silver dollar, or so I thought turned out to be a silver plated horse ornament; Marshall Lesche savaged revenge ---
COIN COUNT:
19.5 Lincolns
111 Nickels
07 Dimes
07 Quarters
TOTAL 144.5 COINS VALUE $8.19 & 1/2 cents
