Hi guys, well the old rail road/wagon bridge produced again... this time I spent about 3 hours along the outskirts of the area and found nothing much...
I wanted to take new pics of the pillars again to give you guys a better view of them, it was a beautiful day sunny 65 degrees, well I decided to go home and as I was walking along a path... I got a signal 79 VDI on my DFX 6.5 in down dug and I found another compact just like the one that had the gold coin the last time sealed perfect and was heavy... boy did my heart start racing so I wanted to get home faster to open it up and instead of going along the path I went straight up the hill as I'm about half way up I get a pretty good signal....yeah baby !!!!
in a single line about 5 ft. long were these coins!!!!! yippy!!!!!!!
1) holed 3 center no date :(
2) holed 1840 half dime
3) holed 1853 Arrows half dime
4) holed 1857 half dime
5) holed 1857 half dime
6) beat to hell flying eagle cent!! No date
7) ND shield nickel
ND shield nickel
9) 187? shiled nickel
I thought I was going home empty handed... well I got home we opened up the compact ;( no coin or coins. ;)

Okay j.d. in missouri, I've been following your posts now through several different ID's and accounts here on TreasureNet and I'm now convinced that Mel Fisher owns you an apology.

You...j.d. in missouri you are the world's greatest treasure hunter...NOT Mel Fisher. ;D

Seriously pal, you are awesome.

Another super group of finds and what a great story!

Badger

Thanks Badger that's one heck of a compliment you gave me!! its friends like you that make it fun to post finds!!! hh bud jd

JD, you should change JD in Missouri to Treasure God from now on! That would be a cool sign on for you and that relic guy would be flattered by the gesture. Or maybe more appropriately Treasure Magnet Man! Or maybe God of Treasure? Well any of these would describe you very well. Folks I know for a fact JD is maybe the best coin and relic hunter I have ever hunted with. Tsgman

Awesome finds!!

thanks everyone!!!!

Because of Relic's enthusiasm for my finds and his unrelenting loyalty towards me...:) He has sent me a message that he has started a new religon and church for me. I am extremely flattered for his supreme devotion to me and my finds!!!

it called "J.D.'s church of lost silver coins"

so yes I am here to bless all of you!! "may your cups all runneth over with gold and silver coinage" Amen!!!

now pass the offering plate!! let me be the frist to add some silver booty. found some seated dimes down by the river the other day that you forgot to come back for before you moved bud-!
Bless you all my children!!!!!

JD ,you are one of the most successful hunters on the net!! Great job. :)

you Relic I blessed you and now you are finaly able to find some good stuff again!!! I thank you for you total devotion to me... Tom in Philly got an $800.00 coin on the river!!!! yeah buddy.... and Ocean 7 got a $1200.00 dime there in that area.... so you keep trying... theres more out there!!!!

thank you Birdman!!

OK, J.D.,,,
enough is enough!
Knock it off!
This is getting 'old'!
Quit digging up my stuff!
sheeeeeeesh...some people...
lol

;)

badandy I have no idea why the coins have holes in them although I have found alot... some people say the wore it around the neck as a good luck piece, some people have told me that they used to hide them with safty pins from people trying to rob them.. I have bben told that people used to carry them on a string so they wouldnt get lost... i bet there are other reasons also... hh all jd
