Was driving around checking out the town where I live part time now due to the job moving and spotted a playground with lots of sand, there is no snow here, over 2' of snow back home just 1.5 hours away. The ground here is frozen but the sandy areas were diggable to about 4". Managed 10 coins for a total of 1.10 Euros ($1.32)and an extreme junk ring, the ring is plastic with recycled bubble gum wrappers sprayed onto it, LOL, thought it was silver at first glance! I had a real good time for over an hour at the tot lot and battery money is always a welcomed find. HH, Mike

Good deal for bad weather hunting. Good thing about Michigan is you don't have to travel too far south to find diggable ground.

Re: Raided a tot lot today... HERE AS WELL, MIKE !

And very windy, to, Mike. But it was mild, 11?C, the first time (this year) I didn't need my gloves. Was out for 4 hours on the beach.
