I enjoyed my 3300 for the last three years but after millions of zincolns and clad, only three silvers, I purchsaed my whites 300 dfx, everyone is telling me my finds will increase and Silver should be alot more, any thoughts on this?? I just hope its as good as everyone is telling me HH, I will post after my first day next week with the new DFX300

As with any thing you get better by doing it. Put in the hours and your finds will get better. There is one catch you must find quality sites to hunt. Learn to listen for that "coin sound" it a very clean and sharp sound. as all things we go in circles the sound will only come when you put in the hours. HH -=La Beep=-

First if you hunt trashy areas pick up a smaller coil like the 4x6 and use the tone ID. Give it some time. Tom

I can't imagine what reason they gave that the DFX will find you more silver than the 3300.

The real answer would be to find places that are old enough to have silver. No, I'm not bashing the DFX, but either machine can find silver!

Perhaps more sensitivity to coins on edge and/or near iron, better discriminating, deeper detecting, less RFI problems, better stability = less falsing, multi-frequency operation, abaility to configure programs, and better balance (you can hunt longer) could be just a few I can think of.

There is a real reason a White's DFX costs over three times the price of a Bounty Hunter 3300.
Can you find more silver with it ... YES! ... if the silver is there to start with.
