It's pretty clear this place hasn't been hunted. Spent a few hours the last few weekends wondering about and also nit picing through the trash. Here are results.

Silver jewelry and relics: copper and silver bangle, Mexican silver piece with green stone maybe part of an earing, whal eversharp sterling mechanical pencil.

Indians: 1901, 1865

Spoons: Bristol plate Co spoon, Gorham sterling spoon with no date marking so it dates from 1934 to 1940. Pattern is called Strasbourg. I had a surface beer can signal and kicked dirt and to my surprise the spoon popped right out! No digging.

Wheats:1916, 1918, 1936, 1940, 1942, 1944, 1951, 1956D, 1957 and one no date crusty one.

Probably the biggest D buckle I've seen along with 2 smaller companions. 2 flat buttons, silver plated earring, most of a gold plated cufflink, patron 5 sly foxes lighter, few keys, valve stem cover, piece of Harmonica reed.. Think fancy flower thing was a broach?

Thanks for looking.

There has to be a silver coin hiding in here somewhere.

Very Cool!!! Congrats!!!

Gorham sterling spoon with no date marking so it dates from 1934 to 1940. Pattern is called Strasbourg.

Good finds, but just a small correction here. Gorham’s ‘Strasbourg’ pattern was designed by William C. Codman in 1897 but it was one of their most popular and longest-lived patterns. They were certainly still making it in the 1960s and perhaps through to closure in 1986. Although it’s true they discontinued date marking by year in 1933 (and resumed with marks for the decade of production from 1940 onwards) the absence of a date mark doesn’t help on things like spoons. Gorham used date marks on small items and hollow-ware, but not on flatware.

The style of Gorham’s other marks on flatware may narrow down the date, but absence of a date mark doesn’t.

Thank you. Seems like Site was definitely gone by late 1960s so it's probably not newer than that.

Nice dark green Indian Head. I like the horse tack buckles too as here in South Dakota they are so numerous fun to collect
I actually made a whole buckle box for my buckle and clips. Some tac, some garment, suspender clips and shoe buckle frames.

That is a really good idea looks nice RBD The more you find the more you want to find and the bigger too.. How large is the one you just found. Here are some of mine not looking so organized
Regular 8 inch x 12 inch x 0.75 inch Riker case. You may have to cut up the cotton a little so piece fit well.

Actually I meant the dimension of that last big D you found lol
It's 2 and 5/8th by 2 3/4 inch. Largest one over found so far. Like your pile. Organized chaos

You're on a good site, and I agree, gotta be a silver coin in there somewhere!
I think the racoon 🦝 that lives in there took all the silver coins to its den lol. they do like shiny things. Met one last time I was there. It didn't like sound of pin pointer. So i leave it on vibe.
