Quick Park hunt yield first buffalo

Went to a park after the gym to hit up a park where I found a merc this past weekend. My friend found a wheat and a religious charm. I found my first buffalo ,a wheat and a foot full of dog crap ( It was getting dark and I didn't see the huge pile in front of me.) The strange this it rang in the bottle cap and zinc pennies on the dfx. The only reason I dug was that it was a bit deeper then the junk I was finding.

Way to go man. I recently found my first buffalo also. Additionally, I stepped in dog crap that day too. Small world.

Never stepped in the stuff while hunting, BUT, did git a signal under it. Got a big stick, moved the pile, checked where it was, NO signal, went to the pile, scanned it, Signal! 'Twas a new penny in da pile, I left it for the next hunter. BTW, I call those nickels, " Bull Mooses" when ya hunt with a buncha friends, in a bad area, you don't shout out to your fellow hunters.....I GOT A BUFFALO or INDIAN NICKEL! Good way to lose your equipment or life. We never say what we got in the silver dept. EVER! If one of your friends want to know what ya got, we just say, dime, quarter, 50cents, etc. We never tell when we get clad. So anytime you hear me or one of my friends say DIME! It is actually a silver dime. BTW, congrats on your nice condition Indian Nickel.
