Quick hunt turned up a sheild nickel

I went to a site near me that I kinda of gave up on. None ferrous signals are few and far between. I got a faint repeatable signal that turned out to be a sheild nickel. I cant read the date on it. Thats the second one from this site. I also found lamp parts and what i call a coin purse frame. I find these frames all the time but never any coins nearby . I found the key and bell a few days before at the same site.

Thats the third one that i found. The first one I found is in really nice shape the date is readable. I think its a 1882 it must of been drop wwhen it was new and the ground was kind to it. I still enjoy finding old coins in any condition. thanks everyone!!

Thats a real nice Shield Nickel. I have only found one of those, and its not near as nice as yours.
