Quick fix so you wont lose your pin pointer

I just cut one from plastic milk jug plastic with an xacto knife and a circle template. Has worked great so far and only cost a little time. To cover the speaker hole shrink tubing works great! You might have to check out the electronics supply sites. I lucked out they had large sizes up to 3" I think Harbor Freight sells rolls of it that would work. Doesn't leave any residue so shouldn't cause any warranty issues!
Can you show us a photo of the milk type? Thanks

I'm using a kayak paddle leash and a split ring. I'm gonna take out the smaller ring and just use one. The plastic clip that comes with the paddle leash is crap. I wouldn't attach my keys to it as my pinpointer kept falling off of it.

I found that ring on Ebay. Took a while because it came from the UK. But well worth it! Other rings looked cheaper as in not enough metal for the clip to attach to. Oh, that coil lanyard, Ebay as well. Stretches to about 30-35 inches. Keeping it tethered to my belt, you will feel it pull if you leave it on the ground.

Those retractable chain clips are usually junk and have a very limited lifetime, from my experience.

At home depot flashlight section they have a flashlight holder with belt/pocket clip, garrett fits in there perfectly so I usually just wear it clipped on my pocket when detecting, easily accessible and secure.
