Questions About Properties Removed From The National Register Of Historic Places

Even if it's on that list, I wouldn't think twice about detecting the property. I have metal detected a church in my area many times that's on that list. It doesn't mean much at all. They are put on that list as a tax dodge. Nothing really historical about the church, except that it built in the 1800's. Nothing significant ever happened there, so calling it historical is just another way of calling it old.
