Question about serial # on 100.00 note

IMHO, all '100s' back through the 2001 series are still considered "current".
A small premium may be offered for the '96 and '99 series IF in UNC-63 or better. You need to get back to the '88 series to get a premium in a lower condition; star bills are the exception.
Don..

Thanks for the reply Don.

The original poster was referring to the serial number if I'm not mistaken, not the fact that it's a 2003A series note.

O.P. - even though it's a binary serial, the fact that it's a $100 note is going to keep it from really fetching anything over face value. I would spend but that's only my opinion. You may decide to keep it for your collection or whatever which is all good.
