I found this print along with some other goodies at a thrift store the other day. The frame 20.5 x 17. It is titled " The Residence of O. H. Martin Esq. Barnston T.P. Stanstead CO. Quebec" It has a single board back held in by round head square shaft tacks. I haven't taken the back off yet and haven't see any date. My computer searching skills suck so I thought that I would ask for help from the experts on Tnet. I'm looking for any info on Owen H. Martin, the approximate date of the print, and any other helpful info that might come up. Thanks!

Matt nailed it, this is an original page from a Canadian county atlas!
Here in Ontario we had a series of 9 atlases produced for each region in our province.
The originals were produced under contract by our provincial government from 1870 - 80.

They were then reproduced in the late 1960's for use as educational tools in schools and libraries.

I think I detected what is left of that farm last year? The land with the river and the position of the buildings looks beyond familiar. Found a pile of nice old coins and relics on the property. Just outside of Stanstead QC.
