4 hours on my own in the windy rain, as SS once said, if you don't detect in the rain in the UK you won't get much done :D

Not a lot about but what I did get I was pleased with;

Royal York Rangers Button 1807-19 :headbang: My first of this short lived regiment which formed from the Royal African Corps.
1 Scrappy
Lead Cap to a 17th C powder flask
17th C Token
Ancient mystery piece :icon_scratch:
Another 2 Hammered - Henry III 1247-72, & a cut Qrter shortcross :icon_thumright:

My detector has the ability, I just have the patience to stick to gridding however bad it gets. :thumbsup:

UPDATE
Thanks, it might be rarer than I thought, here is Cru'Dad's quick research thoughts:

'I should think that button is pretty rare seeing as this was only 6-7 companies of 100 men who were ex convicts etc, formed in Guernsey and sent to serve in the West Indies for their existence - with a redeployment to Canada before being disbanded! Strange how that has ended up here.'

If anyone out there can find another one on the net, let us know?
