Qestion On Posting Photos

I have a jpeg file that is 267 megs, and the maximum allowes for an attachment ghere is 128.
Is there anyway to edit/ compress this jpeg file so that I can post the photo?

That's something you'll have to do on your end (on your computer).? You can either compress it, or reduce its dimensions.

I may add the ability for the server to do this - but not in the immediate future.

Hey DJ_Quinn,

The limit is 128kb. ?If you have a file larger than that, then you need to edit your picture to become smaller. ?I would either crop the picture or just reduce the percentage size until the total Kilobytes below the maximum allowed.

Somewhere in your software there should be a place where you can compress the image to allow you to post as an E-mail attachnment.
If you are using a digital camera, set the resolution to a lower pixel setting. I have found that the lower resolution still gives good quality pics, unless you want to blow them up to poster size.
