Haven't found a darn thing with my detector yet, but I make a habit of checking out all the change in my purse before spending it. Today I found a 1937 wheat penny! Yay! Shockingly, it's in better shape than a lot of the more recent coins I had in there.
Perhaps not the most impressive find ever, but it's currently the oldest coin in my collection. It's also not this shiny. My camera isn't the best and I had to not use a flash, but then adjust the contrast to make details clearer. It's darker in color, but in pretty nice shape considering it's been in circulation.
