Finally got to go out today and went back to the site where I found the 1910 spoon. I didn't find any coins quite that old but I did find a couple of keepers! ;D I also found a ring and was very excited about it till I got home and washed it off. :-\

The merc is 1943 and the rosie is 1961. Three wheats 37, 41 and ?

Oh... and the tax token. ::) And I included a picture of all the junque too. :P

Thank you! :)

I been REALLY busy this past couple of weeks but now it's slowing down for a week or so. :P

The ring isn't gold. :-\ Says something like 'Beta co' ? Hard to read but that's what it looks like anyhow. This house is sitting on a site of a house that burned in the early 50's. I really thought some of my finds would be older but not as of today. And yep...these tokens are everywhere! I added the picture of the junque for the newest newbies because I remember when I first started reading this site and all the great finds people were making and I wondered how in the world do they find all that good stuff and not have any trash to go with it! I learned really fast that they did! :D And this by the way was a very light junque day! :P I don't usually hunt yards...mostly I'm at the fields and barns and old homesites. But it was a treat to not have my pockets weigh me down. ;D

Thanks for the comments on the pictures! I almost forgot to take it! Was in the car backing up and stopped long enough to snap a couple. Must just be the scenery. ;)

Yep! Love that silver!

Thanks again! Ya'll are the best!

way to go NANA i found an awesome old home site in your area the other day when i went to an estate sale, but they had already sold the house and didnt think the new owners would want me detecting..... the house was a 18th century log cabin that had regular boards covering most of the logs..... logs were still visible in one of the bedrooms.... also saw another place on my way to the sale..... 2 lines of BIG cedar trees that looked like they lined a driveway at one time.... and at the ned...... 2 FIREPLACES gotta check that out one day

Hi Nana and WTG....

It is not just the scenery in your photos ..you do have a gift for great composition. Keep the finds and the great photos coming.

Another good day nana, it looks like you did a lot of digging. I can't wait to get out but I think it will be another 3 weeks unless mother nature takes pitty on me. It's snow right now, we are suppose to get 3 inches, enough of winter already :-\ :-\ HH.
