Pull tab type...age?

This isn't a joke....just curious about these pull tabs...found quite a few of them in a 1920's site...are these more modern? Trash from a previous md'er? IMG_2116.JPG
 

No idea.

I guess it's just a matter of time before someone does the research and dates pull tabs. After all, they are almost 60 years old.

I suspect there are many on the forum that don't remember when there were not pop tops.

Mick56, you forgot those genius cans that had the holes you had to punch out with your fingers. Band aid sales skyrocketed before we all figured out to use our car keys.

What seems odd is that I am not finding the cans, just these tabs that look like soda tabs, could they be tabs to seal a bottle like ketchup?
