Both side have the same picture on it can't figure out what it is half Pennies have a different picture on back. Any ideas?

Interesting, same on both sides?

That's a new one for me, those 1844 tokens should have a different reverse, head scratcher for sure

That's what I thought even the bank tokens have a different on back

Are both sides in relief or is one incuse ? If so, one coin was still in die when another struck. Which is pretty cool, and I'd imagine quite rare.

Good find.

Thank you for your Comment. The front of another coin struck the back side of this coin.

Found one of these 2 weeks ago across the street from me a 1844. Nice token congrats!!

IMG_0064.JPGI would not clean it to much, it could be worth some money, it could be a mint double sided, nice find for sure.

Has this been over looked??

Very rare find!

I'm voting banner on this, how many more of these are we going to see??

That's different. Congrats!

Very cool. The question you need to be asking now is.... is it the Tall Trees, and if so, is there differences between the 42 Tall Trees die and the 44. Even dug, a 42 Tall Trees brockage would have a lot of interest.

It appears to be tall thick tree. But hard to see. I know the branches cover the tree trunk.

Someone want to take this coin to a coin show it has some interest I guess. Cool
