I know, I know, y'all are probably rolling your eyes, but I'm happy! For three weeks, I've been puling clad out of my yard...total is about $5. I was so happy when something other than a memorial cent came out! This is my first coin that isn't common clad.

Congrats on your first! You only have about 19,999 more to catch me! :laughing7:

I love finding Wheaties and remember being totally pumped when I found my first one! Congrats:icon_thumleft:

It's a good looker too. Good going, Rusty!

My first wheat was a 58.....and so was my second and third. Variety sure is nice and wheats offer many different years, just dont give me another 58:tongue3:congrats on your 45.

Love wheaties. I pulled 31 wheaties from a park near me. All in One little area.
I bet you keep going over your yard. Clean out the Klad and you'll get to the old deep coins. Silver next... HH

I'm not rolling my eyes ! We all have to start somewhere, and dig that "first" of all types of coins and relics. You just started in the hobby and you will be finding more and more as time rolls on. Before you know it, you will have been digging for 30 + years like a lot of us have been, and you will have more display cases and coin albums than you know what to do with. I see you live in Kentucky, a great state with a lot of history. You will find older items if you do your research. Be proud of that Wheat, and congrats on your first one.
