Probably just one of those tokens that don't come around very often. You may have even find the only one around out of maybe a thousand or so made. If i had too bet on a time frame for this token I would say anywhere from 1890 too 1930!

Everybody's kind suggestions all seem to have a ring of truth about them. I've tried my best to figure it out and prove it, but, my researching skills have apparently shrunken over the years too.

Only thing I can think to do is to try giving some better pics and hope it helps someone to remember something.

This token appears to had been crafted with a lot of care. (at least it does to me) It even has the accent on "TRE'S ".

Here's a few close ups, hope it helps.









Oh! And by the way, it weighs 5.7 grams.

Great pics. The words tres BON appear more modern however overall it just has an old look to it. It also has a Grange look. The other token found shows what appears to be mercury fire gilded gold plating that we see on old buttons so that means its older than 1890. Of course I have been wrong before, I just cant remember when. (Im joking)

I PMed Idahotokens. I think he is the member that has been very helpful with tokens on this forum. Im waiting for him to help. Another thought you could send pics to be included in the token database.

I do too. I'm just striking out everywhere I look.

It may well be plated but, I don't want to try cleaning it anymore until I can identify.

The plating has completely worn off of yours. Do not clean it anymore. Its good.

Idahotokens is very knowlegable on tokens. I PMed him but maybe he didnt see it.

Oops. I just realized that Idahotokens replied to my request for help several days ago but I wasnt notified by TN.

He said he cant help unfortunately but his first thought is that it may be Canadian. He also says he doesnt think its a trade token.
