You will have more luck getting an answer if you provide more information. Length, diameter, weight, etc.

measurement lenth approx 5"...diameter is approx 4 3/4" & object is iron, weighing approx 11/2-2lbs.

I'm far from being a metallurgist, but I find it difficult to believe that a 4 1/4 inch long piece of iron could weigh that much?? Is there lead inside it?

I weighed the object thats approx weight...its solid so not sure if lead may be inside.20150915_092840.webp

Well I could be wrong but it looks like a broken cast iron window weight not a projectile? HH
