They are not suppose to be on the market till sometime this month according to my dealer. I am wanting one.

I was just advised that Bart @ Big Boys has limited stock available.

Got my vest in this evening! I know...they're expensive, but it seems to be very well-made. Once I get a chance to use it (hopefully this weekend), I will post some feedback.

Many thanks to Bart from Big Boy's Hobbies for the quick shipping!

Got to try out the vest today...I was very impressed! Although the ATP isn't that heavy, I do start to have back/shoulder issues at the end of the day. I almost forgot I was wearing the vest. It does a very good job of supporting the weight of the machine. The j-strut bar that it uses transfers the weight down to your lower back. When I bent down to dig a signal, I didn't have to unhook the bungy cord in most cases.

Looking forward to trying it again...

That's pretty killer. Thanks for the info.

Hey, use it for a while longer and give us another update. I am starting to have some shoulder problems and I am thinking about getting one, but I don't want to pay that kind of money until I hear more reviews on it. I am concerned that it will slow my rhythm down having to unhook frequently.

It's worth every penny. It doesn't slow down anything in my experience. I never have had to unhook it, as a matter if fact while using a scoop beach hunting, it allows you to just let go of the detector and use both hands on the scoop if necessary. The detector just floats next to you while your digging. It's a must have for the 17" coil on a CTX, but that's about the only time I use it.

Thanks for the advice. This will probably be my next purchase.

I own one. It is a well built and designed harness. If you need or want a harness, this is the one. I typically do not use it with my CTX as most of my hunts are for few hours at a time, but on long days I do use it and it works well. It is not had to adjust, but make sure you do adjust it correctly as to work correctly, it needs to be adjusted correctly.

Are there good ways to attach other things such as my Pro-Pointer or digging pouch?

I was wondering the same, but It appears that you can attache pouches to the outside belt. Look at the photo that hoosierguy posted. Shows that he has a sheath attached.

I swing up to ten hours (almost non-stop) at a time, so I could definitely use one.

You can attached other gear to it...the belt is on the wide-side, so you do need to consider what gear you normally strap on before you spend the money. I don't regret my purchase at all! Boogeyman, I wish my deuce gear was this comfortable :) I actually have the entire deuce gear setup, but decided to go this route once I saw the product. (The deuce gear is much cheaper)...
