Just got back from my local yard this morning, was surprised to see the place almost devoid of scrap metal.
Talked to the one guy I know who works there, he was saying peddlars aren't coming in much anymore and they aren't roaming the streets anymore for a few scraps of copper etc because the expense far outstrips the gains they get.
It's the guys like me who do this full time as a business that are coming in that's it.
