Good morning everyone,
On a recent trip I found some great WW2 relics which I obviously want to preserve in the best way possible.
Item 1: Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD) pin, made out of white metal (?) and still partly enameled (RAD dank nadel).
Item 2: Luftwaffe pin for collar tab, probably zinc (Schwinge für kragenspiegel)
Especially with the enameled pin, I would love for the colors to stand out a little more and preserve the fragile pin.
The Luftwaffe pin now looks pretty good, but not sure how the zinc will deteriorate through the years without some kind of treatment.
How would you best preserve these two items?
Cheers,
Admiral
