This morning I met up with JF to hunt a park in SW Baltimore. Eventually we made it to a school close by and did better there, with JF recovering an 1898 IHC. We parted ways around 1PM and I headed into town and ended up at my old nemesis, Druid Hill Park. Yes, I returned. First old target was this thimble that reads "For A Good Girl", around the top rim. I kept in the same general area and amongst competing targets located a high-tone that turned out to be a well-preserved seated dime, dated 1857. Still some surprises left at Druid.

Awesome seated, real nice condition, nice thimble also, congrats on the saves & HH

Thanks Inspector! Is it amazing how good a "Hot Wheels" car sounds? Many times I've thought "half dollar" to uncover a racing care.

Nice looking dime, congrats! :occasion14:

They sure do & as much as I love HW's I would prefer the halves popping out, GL

You're right about that Bryan1776. I've done well there and this last visit after being away from it for 2 - 3 months worked out better than I expected.

Thanks crossfire631! I see you have the 600 as well. It's a good one for seeking out silver.....keep swinging.

Thx Washingtonian! I had given this park a break for several months. Came back and found more.

Thanks Basque-Man. Can you imagine what the first detectorists found here? This one peeped through the modern trash.

Thanks BLK HOLE! Very happy with silver, even better to get seated.

Very nice seated! I think the Druid is your buddy leaving treasures lurking for you to scoop up!
