Power source for sluice

I use one of those yellow power packs from Harbor Freight ( power only no compressor) and leave it plugged into 110 while I am running,12v pumps are way cheaper than 110 unless you need a large volume of water. Plus, you can replace the gel cell when it get weak for about 12 bucks. Pump mfg's play with output specs alot to make their look best so if you go big, buy enough fittings to have a bypass dump line as you may want to bleed off some of the psi or volume straight to the tubs and not thru your equipment as centrifugal pumps have a sweet spot on power consumption and flow whether they are 12 volt or 110 and don't like to be forced to make psi they weren't designed for ,as the flow is part of the pump cooling, when the heat rises so does power needs

A battery charger works fine BUT you really do need to put a battery in the circuit ... even if it's just a small one like a motorcycle battery.
