On this site, yes, and FROM BOTH SIDES! Nobody used extreme rhetoric on this thread until you brought it up. Nobody said the democrats were solely responsible for extending unemployment benefits and nobody said the "prez" makes the laws but you still found it necessary to point out their innocence. It just seems to be a "cover their butt" reaction to anything being said that is negative even when they aren't being accused. Like saying "they didn't do it" when nobody said they did.

Guess I'll attempt to get back on topic. I may even use spell check to appear intelligent. Our power company, phone companies, insurance companies, government agencies from local to federal level, along with other programs including scholarships for minorities, all offer the non-productive cheaper or free everything. By the time you add all this up and then include the freedom of being able to sit on your butt all day, they make a lot more than someone trying to work from the bottom up. Our society and government (not just Obama and company) are turning this whole country into welfare state that can't last forever.

Yes, there is a "hard working poor" element in this country but they are being slowly won over by the lure of rewards for non-productivity. The hard working poor are being convinced they are being duped for trying to do right and are getting in the welfare lines with the rest of the losers. (not all Obama's fault)
