pottery plummet

I know alot of you have seen this before.. my purpose for posting it now .. is with all the new faces I was wondering if anyone else has come across this rare type of artifact. I have only seen a photo of one other that belongs to TomClark. And I wish that was a better photo. Either way If you have a plummet That is somehow odd or made of a strange material please post it.

Gator, that last post for me?

The one I have is broken pottery that had the edges rounded much like game pieces.

I think I have found a piece like you are talking about. My piece is a light weight stone worked along the edges and worked down to a bit over 1/16 of an inch thick. It's round, and drilled out in the center. Mine is broken straight in half. I'll try to find a pic to post.

Not thin enough. When I get in, I'll have to post what I have. It's more like one of the flat ones Tom has posted just above. I may be in the wrong ball field totally though.

I think I remember the peice. The whole is way out of round if I remember it correctly. kinda looked like a donut. My jury was out on that one.
