Hello, I was wondering if anyone could give me a roug estimate of these ceramic I have found. Thanks and sorry if this post doesn’t belong here. 8A96D3C2-4528-4A7B-80CC-D162DD882728.jpeg945BE92F-5A5E-480B-9ACE-FC84CBC22D82.jpeg

Sorry I probably shouldn’t have posted this here, I don’t think these are that old. Sorry, it would have been better suited for What is it? Forum

Looks just like the same shards of china that we are finding at pre-civil war home sites here in Southwest Georgia. - If I found this laying in a field, I would get the metal detector out and hunt that area.

Thanks for the responses, and I probably shouldn't have posted in this forum. I will definitely continue to metal detect the area. Thank you!

I was wondering the date of these also. Some look the same as yours. View attachment 1724927

The pieces above that are blue and green are called shell edged pearlware. They date from 1740 to 1840. The top blue piece is blue willow and could be from the 1700's also although it was made well up into the 1800's. They have similar pieces at Jefferson's Monticello. Nice fine

I also have a red color piece like that I'm guessing it's around the same age?

I find that same blue and green edged pottery not sure if it’s from the same plates but a back mark I found from a plate in the same trash pit dated to the 1830s and also found buttons to match that timeframe.
