I've seen some ugly coin finds, but smooth doesn't always mean ugly. I dug this Seated Liberty dime, and it is smooth! Lets see some more coins that have passed through many, many hands before being dropped...

The reverse is readable large cent.. i *think* its draped bust what do you think?

I found this at a home that was built in the mid 1700's. I put it in with my trash thinking it was a part off a lawn mower. The punch mark in the center threw me off. When I got home I double checked my trash, and decided to clean it up rather than throw it away. I think it's an 1806 Draped Bust Half Cent, but....???

Here is one of mine. It is a Young head King George II. Sadly like everyone else there is more in my collection too.

If the diameter is like a dime, then it is a dime. The half dime is much smaller. Sure is smooth!

Ok then it's a dime. I tried to get the glare to show what detail it had left. I pulled the dime out of the ground like that

Cool. It very much resembles my dime that started this thread, only yours still has a bit of the wreath on the back. If you are able to make out some stars near the rim above lady liberty, then it's 1860 or earlier.
