Illness kept me out of the field in 2020 but I did recover a plastic bag in 2019 from the bottom of a lake in about 4ft of water that contained all of these sterling southwest items. That was a pretty neat day as one is never quite expecting to encounter caches like this in their local lakes. Ready to get back out there in 2021 though, that's for sure. Can't wait for spring to get here!

Mine was this little brass pin depicting a palm of a hand with a rooster on it. Thanks to our great ID team here on TNet it was discovered to be a rare presidential political pin from 1880. Hancock vs. Garfield. Found it to be worth several hundred dollars, maybe more if a couple people would fight for it. 20201028_214158.jpg

One relic one coin. 1742 1 Reale and a Massachusetts militia artillery button, found within 150 yards of each other on different days last fall.

Very nice save of the Mass. Militia button and the coin. The button is a real Beaut.

those could be platinum. i'm an alaskan, btw.

I just started getting into treasure when me and my family went on a vacation to Alaska. Luckily, I brought my metal detector with, because I found what I think is silver nuggets. I don’t know for sure though, so if anyone knows, please lmk. But this is my best find in 2020.

those could be platinum. i just pulled two small pickers off our claims recently. pm me if you'd like to discuss further.

Found on Treasure coast Jan.2020 mixed in with a few iron pieces a few inches down ,on Melbourne beach.Jeweler says their real. The BIG question IS did they come off the 1715 fleet..... View attachment 1890290

Thanks for ALL the likes guys.Whats your thoughts ? 1715 fleet ....OR not ?

Hey Terry! A bit late to post my best find but I think it is worth it. It is the fifty center 1892. The coin is in F-VF condition. Found at the beach of the lake . The beach was in 1800-s now it is all bushes. The spot was identified using antique postcards. Cheers!

Two GW inaugural buttons from this summer, a gold 1840s mourning brooch from March, a Diamond ring from the beach in July and a Morgan dollar eyeball find in a sugarcane field.

Besides my Banner obsidian knife, I'd have to say this ring, not because it's the heaviest I found this year, but because I think it's the most attractive.
