It's nice to get one keeper, but isn't it great when you dig 2 finds you're really happy with from the same hunt. I'll have to think about this because I believe I hit quite a few of these daily double keeper days, but only one is coming to mind.

Let's see the two you went home with the same day. Heck post 3 or more if you dug em, but keep in mind these are finds you consider very good keepers. The more I think about this, I've had several killer days.

These were found in a cornfield in June 2007. I found 4 coppers that day.

I guess that's a good day! Tell me I don't wish my 28 in a day didn't look like that! The sad thing is I think about every one just got thrown in the crusty box.

Seeing your post makes me dream of how awesome a 100 coin Colonial cache would be.

WOW WOW WOW Lots of super finds on here, Congrats all!!!!

I found these at an old site that was under construction. I found the 1867 during my lunch time hunt. I got the signal and dug down and when it popped out it pretty much blew me away and I took off back to my office. On the way I called my buddy Tommy and he told me just what I had...boy was I excited. A Maximiliano 1 peso...minted for just 2 years...in awesome condition! I was still pumped about it and went back that same afternoon. I hunt with a Tejon and so I went back to that same area to hunt and I tried to ground balance my machine over the spot I had found the Peso, thinking it was clear....but my machine kept going off...I looked down....there sticking out of the ground...was the 1827 bust dime!!! Rookie mistake not rechecking the hole the first time. It was a GREAT day!

I found both of these the same day a couple of years ago in southeast West Virginia. They were within 30 feet or so of each other around a small spring. The tomahawk is dated 1771, and has a makers mark I can't make out. I found the arrowheads in the background of the last picture that day too, one of my best hunts ever. Great topic btw, really enjoying all the interesting finds and stories that went with them.
