Last week I was Detecting an Old Park in Sacramento and found a Diamond Pendant, thought it to be Junk at first, after cleaning it up a little and looking at the back I found what I thought at first as being 925 for Silver and then I thought can't be Silver it only hit at Pulltab on my 6000 Pro. Did a little research and found that they mark Platinum with numbers such as 850, 900, 950 meaning the % of Platinum 85%, 90%, 95% as you can tell from Pic it looks like maybe 920 could it be 92% Platinum.
Can any of you Jewelry Experts help with this?
Thanks; John

My first wedding band was platinum, it was marked with a KT stamp. Also another good test for anyone in the future Platinum is HEAVY, once you hold it you can tell the difference between it and silver or white gold.

Still a nice find!!
