1 1/2 by 1 maybe a Santa Fe found in Pasco County Florida. Look like they had a rough time with it and couldn't thin it out, possibly the maker's stomach was grumbling. It could have been crafted from a broken tip of something else. It actually looks a little better in person but not by much.

The B side does look like a hinge fractured tip. The lithic piece has a real course vein in it.

I'd say it's not thin enough and auricles are too pronounced for Santa Fe. It's a nice one though!

Definitely agree about the thickness, this one has puzzled me for awhile. The ears have made me wonder as well because I've seen Greenbrier's with similar ears (especially the left one).

I found the other one in Pasco co., Lol..This one’s a drill, just call yours a generic drill ( without the tip wear )...Santa Fey’s are a thinner better made point..I like it, Mail it to me, this one’s lonely,Ha.E4C008A1-2A85-45D5-9976-620D3DD9AE68.jpegC9ECE535-24BE-43D2-BB1B-BBCAAC4F1B25.jpeg0D64EC66-1409-416A-8616-822CAAAC61BF.jpeg

Hey Hal, I'm sure yours has been wanting a vacation to Georgia, to see it's long lost brother /sister /cousin/ nephew. I'll pay for the one way trip. I was just informed by my artifact that they go way back :icon_thumright:
