Thanks i hope so too....It looks vintage to me, thanks....

Nice find. Best bet is to get an inexpensive diamond tester off the net, or take it to a jeweler to know for sure.

Thanks for the advice, Just found it today, looks vintage to me , thanks for the reply

If you find jewelry even once or twice a year I'd advise going on Ebay or Amazon and ordering one. I did and now I never have to second guess a stone.

I hear you that makes sense, I think ill take it to a jewerler...thanks for the input ill have to look into that...

Very nice piece of jewelry! Sure hope the diamonds are real. :icon_thumleft:

I'm going to guess not due to the quality of the reverse. But good luck, worth a check.

I owned a pawn shop for 20 years and bought and sold thousands of Diamonds. It is pretty and a nice find but it is not real. Crusader is correct about the back. Real diamonds are never set this way.

Hi, nice find.Congrats, the brooch does look old. :icon_thumleft:

In case my response will "carry some weight" and help along this "solve".

Not real.

Rock crystal at best.

Which IF rock crystal... would be worth more than "cut glass.

That's it... My expert opinion via a photograph.

And for future reference...

IF you ever have a piece that resembles this "style" and are not sure as to "real stones" of any type.

First immediate clue is...

Prongs.

No prongs holding stones in... not real.

This is of course the "first" dead giveaway.
