If it's a point it's worn way down. I'm leaning toward natural rock. Kinda looks like the communicator badge on a Star Trek uniform.

I’m Not seeing a lot of evidence of flaking either. especially on the backside does look very limestone like

I find that same swirl design on my Mississippian pottery here. You are on a nice site with lots of water is my guess.
