Possible pewter ring

Went out on my lunch break for about 30 min and hunted close to where a colonial house once stood which I haven't gotten a permission yet but I dug what I believe to be a suspender clip not sure of age and about 5' away I dug this pewter ring at least that's what im guessing but don't know if they made pewter finger rings any help would be appreciated on both relics the quarter is just to show size thanks everyone for looking.

The suspender clip is 1890's - 1910's. Hard to say on the ring. It could be a ferrule off something like a candle stick...
