Nice

im hoping to get out on a small island within a park which is 93'x38' real small... but the bridge connecting to it is fairly old and who wouldn't wanna walk around on a island ;)

Hoping for the best, but it doesn't look like one to me. Possibly a William III halfpenny? Keep us posted!

Great finds, I like the shooters medal, that copper's a cool find.If you need help hunting that Island, drop me a line,ha ha just kidding.:icon_thumleft:

Got my fingers crossed. The Redbook posts their coin images in actual size so I'm a bit concerned that this coin is smaller than the Redbook images. She's definitely a nice oldie with a nice planchet no matter what it is.

Nice Indians and seated

They also give the diameter in mm. Why not measure it?

If it is smaller, then it is quite likely a farthing.

Fire your coin guy! All you have to do is look at the size to know it's not... as proven in your pic above!

last one at auction weighed 126.7 grams this one is at exactly 127, that book isnt act size, it is the same size as all my conn coppers and half the width of a farthing, fire your self!

Then your redbook has larger pics than mine, which means I should have gone with my initial thought/response which is that the bust looks nothing close to the coin you are suggesting it is. You can't see this?

PS: Grains not grams.

Still fire that guy, his eyes are as bad as yours are.

When in doubt, which by your title you are, a photo comparision is always a good way to go before saying it is or is not something. Bust comparisons show differences, regardless of the size of the coin.

AND BY THE WAY YOU CANT SEE IT IN PIC BUT ON REVERSE U. M. B. IS READABLE RT WHERE COLUMBIA IS ON COIN

Looks like a good post to pipe in on.....so I guess I will. NGC is .....once again....a waste of time. As to Immune Columbia....Not even close! Even in the terrible condition it is in, you can plainly see the distinct differences in what you want it to be, and what it is. Kind of glad I wasn't the first to pipe in on this, as I saw the posting yesterday. Can you give me the name of that coin guy. I've got about 15 Machins' I'd like to sell him.8-)

do you have the large print edition Redbook? I've never seen images that are larger than the real coin.

reply
