Possible civil war souvenir medel. Lt Wooster?

I hunted a couple of new places today and found this. Hiked a good mile back in the woods to this old place. Not sure what I have. You can see the Lt. in the green next to Wooster and the date I am guessing at 1886-88? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Looks like a souvenir GAR medal similar to this one. Lots of varieties.Try to reveal a little more detail if you can. Nice find!
