Hey guys,

Dug what I suspect may be a trigger guard from a civil war camp, but has anyone seen one with 2 loops? Any info is greatly appreciated

Kind of looks like a broken antique window grill / grate, similar to this one----thAVKXQJKO window.jpg

Not a bad guess digging, but it's a copper alloy vs cast iron. I've got an Enfield trigger guard that has the same material, thickness and feel... could be off on this one but that's what my gut is telling me

Bit large for a trigger bow but possible.

Not a Jäger style but perhaps a post-Civil War target style. But with the size of yours I would go with non-firearm related.
