I think I know where that nightclub was located. As a youth in the 50's (yeah, I'm old) my family (Dad was 1 of 13) held a family picnic in the area every summer Sunday. I very much remember that place. I've been meaning to get out there. And yes it was run by the "mob" and they did have gondolas on the river, LOL. Many big name singer played there, think Rat Pack.
