✅ SOLVED Possible buckle?

I was wondering if anyone can give me some help with verifying that this is a buckle and possibly a time period. Found at property that dates back to 1600's , but most of my finds have been in the 1800 range.

It is a buckle , horse tack or a dog collar buckle in my opinion.

I'd say the late 1800s up to the early 1900s.
