In a different layer along the glacial moraine? i found this what appears to be a nut cracker hammer or bone splitter hammer. I know its hard to see, the top is almost knapped round and the bottom is a V. There is a chip out of the V however. I also included a side view.

The other flint type rock I found next to the artifact. I believe it was carried to be used later. Both were found in Ohio approximately one mile from lake Erie. Any feedback is most appreciated. I have had these for years.

Thank for looking,
Cap Z.

No it was a new member i guess checking out the forum and got lost??? As far as Trev's post I had to give it a bump on his find to show Tn that he did make banner, but apparently did not get credit for it on his icon. So we were trying to straighten that out...................

Well this 4 year old thread came up on the first page of Google when I was doing some online research about axe heads, I clicked on it and found I had to register to comment so I joined, if you call that getting lost that's fine. I call it not paying attention to the date on the thread and for that I apologize sincerely. I hope I didn't create to much disturbance in the flow here. I will be more careful in the future.

No worries David, it happens and it did not MAR the flow!! It was the first thing all of us noticed and it happens. Again Welcome to the Forum!!!

Glad you are here and look forward to your post. T-net has a cool search feature and great archives used by many. Have fun!

Welcome to Tnet my friend! I also see a lot of my finds when doing a search on the net from Tnet. If you do the images you can see quite a bit of your own finds.
