Possible abandoned house

remember to get permission from the landowner before you even scout it out...... plus they may know if there was a house etc that stood there... dont just chance it and sneek in.... be honorable and ask first...... they might not even let you go...... so I wouldnt waste ne more time till I had their permission

Oh yeah I wouldn't go in there without permission. I know I wouldn't like it if it were my property.

Kool361, how did you save those images from Google Earth and LiveMap?

LiveMap currently shows some areas on a lake that was drawn down last year that Google Earth doesn't show, and I want to save the images before LiveMap comes out with a new version. The lake's back up now, so if I can't figure out how to save the images, they'll be gone once the new version comes out.

Also, is there any way to overlay GE onto LiveMap? I need to mark some areas with GPS coordinates, but best I can tell LiveMap doesn't show GPS numbers. I wanted to place pushpins on LiveMap, then overlay GE to get close GPS wise.

Thanks.

Well you can do screen captures from live maps.On a PC its Alt+PrintScreen, then paste the item into Word or create a PDF from the webpage. As far as Google Earth that actually is software that is free from Google its not the maps you get from the internet. With Google Earth you can use push pins and save locations. The only thing I use live maps for is to use the birdseye view though some areas are not available with this option.

there is a building there and to the left you can see farm land. Those trees dont look more then a few decades old so I would expect it to be a turn of the century farm house that went bunk in the great depression.
