It took a bit of reading and learning, but this is a memorial medal for Pope Pius X.

The medal reads NAT 2 VI 1835 DEI 10 XI 1884 MANT. EPISC 15 VI 1893 VENET PATR 4 VIII 1903 PAPA

He was
Born: 2 June 1835
Bishop of Mantua: 10 November 1884 – 15 June 1893
Patriarch of Venice: 15 June 1893 – 4 August 1903
Pope: 4 August 1903 – 20 August 1914

What I cannot figure out is a reasonable value, or if nothing else a ballpark range.

The medal is not quite a 1.5".

very cool , I found a religious token in St. Marys Co Md, it was mailed out with a news letter in 1920,, I would contact your local Archdiocese, ( Catholic faith) and ask them. please keep me posted

It has no value other than what someone would pay for a single part of the placard it was mounted to.

I find many religious items in Italy, if it is not made of a valuable metal then it is only scrap metal. Most of the items are just scrap I find, then some are silver, few and far between are gold. Best has been a double 3 ounce ingot set of the Pope, one in silver and one in Gold in a leather slider. That one sat at the police station for a year in the lost and found, normally by law I only have to leave it there fr 30 days and the police issues a letter of ownership and the item back, I figured who ever lost this in time would come looking and that is why I left it for so long.

Owner never claimed it lost and no such item was ever reported stolen. Darn shame.
