Hi all, found this small gun,smaller than 22 but a real gun,Any ideas on make and age?

sure there were rolling block single shot pistols, many makers ,put in single shot rolling block pistol in your browser. I'm a gun nut and can't recall seeing any rolling block pistols. The Stevens early 1900's .22's among other offerings, had a lever that dropped the block down to load a shell, they were called falling blocks. This looks like it had a gate that swung out of the way to load it, The gap in the front bottom of hammer is a puzzle to me.
