Hard to tell from your pix, looks like a piece of stainless steel, where and how did he find it? Is it magnetic? You should post this in the "what is it forum" after you get some better quality/in focus/close up pix. I can't even read your measuring tape. How thick is it? Hope I don't sound rude, I'm just trying to help ya out.

It looks like a rectangular object. Better pics would help. Try turning the flash OFF and use natural or indirect lighting. Your flash is washing out the detail- if there is any.

this is not magnetic... ive posted this already in the ''what is it forum'' ages ago. try to see it there... if u can read my description above, i stated there its 82 kilos, 6 inches width,... so, its very clear that the width is the thickness...width means the latitude, broadness or wideness of the object, and the length is 21 inches..ok? no need to see or magnify the measuring tape in the pic. tnx...

Your missing the point that Treblehunter is trying to ask, as your pics are as fuzzy as a bunny's butt, so it's hard to make a definitive ID of the object. So it's 6" wide and 21" long, but what's the thickness/depth as your still missing one measurement to figure out the puzzle? It's just math after that with white metals after that, it'll get you into the ballpark and to find out what alloy it is after that it's a simple test with a spectrograph at any larger scrap yard.

Like it was stated in the finds forum you'll need three measurements to do an ID. So you have provided 21"x6"x? =82kilos or 180.779lbs

Im confused...is it a rock or something?....the pictures are so grainy....looks like the picture was taken from a computer screen with a phone in bad lighting

I believe you have found the monolith from the movie, "2001: A Space Odyssey". :)

Agree, it's hard to see the object in the pics. Your contrast is not strong enough. If you take the picture with a light on above it (but not at an angle that will glare) it will help us.

OK, it's 6 inches wide, and 21 inches long. We are asking for one more measurement, how thick or deep is it. For something that size to weigh 180 pounds is extremely dense,
like some kind of space age metal none of us have heard about. Is it radio active? You will have to help us out a little more if you really want an answer. Are you making a mistake typing the weight,
is it kilos or grams? If you want an answer you will have to provide more information, and better photos, in focus would help.
