Feb 23, 2014 #3 Bathroom sink sized, and would have a (often bead type) chain going to a post affixed to the basin so that it wouldn't go missing. My Grammy's sink had one just like it. As far as I know, as long as we've had plumbing, we've had rubber available. It looks like a cap to something. Like a fence post cap. Upvote 0
