:help: I found this bottle today at my dig site in the forest and got it home and cleaned it up nice and am now trying to figure out what brand the bottle might of been. It has a really neat logo with one bird on each side and with a small emblem of which seems to be someone on a horse stabbing something. Im sure its probably just a semi popular brand of alcohol but don't recognise it. Thanks for reading and any help you may provide:icon_thumleft: HH:4leafclover:

Yes there is a "6", "7", "6141" and a logo which I assume is the company who made the glass, here'IMG_2767.JPGs a picture

Am I seeing an imperial double headed Russian eagle? I'm voting 1961 Holiday Smirnoff Vodka bottle.

You want older; OK:
Smirnoff Vodka did an excellent job in the 1950s and 1960s recruiting some of the best loved stars of stage and screen to shill their spirits. Phil Silvers was a company favorite, or perhaps merely favorite of the company enough in to star in the above ad from 1956 and 1958.
Don.......

Thank you surf for providing me with some of the old ad's, that are very cool and i find them quite interesting as I have 3 other Smirnoff bottles in my collection. Id like to show you my other 3 bottles, i have the 40oz, 26oz and the mickey. I was very pleased when I had found all three sizes separately. I believe they are from the 50's but am not sure. Are you sure its a Smirnoff bottle? because the logos don't seem very similar. Thank you for your interest in my post, it is appreciated :angel3:

Hello Evan,

I'm not positive, that's why I asked you about the Russian Eagle. It does appear to be a two headed eagle, which is one of their logos. Smirnoff had a tradition of making highly stylized Holiday bottles, and this is what I believe you have found.
