Stop the presses!! (and get the banner ready). I hope I'm right.
If your "MOH" coin is what I think it is--and it's not a replica, then you may have a fantastic coin in your possession. A similar one (granted, in excellent condition) sold for about $55,000 (no typo).
Enjoy; here it is:

Don.........
PS: Partial translation: "2 Para (3 Kopeken) 1773, Sadogura, stamped during the Russian occupation Moldaviens and the Wallachei during the Turkish Russian war."
PPS: Looking back up this thread I see that Lazooro also had written:
"#2 moldavia 2 para."

Wow, that looks like it Mack. I hope for eupharies that his is the real deal and not a counterfiet.

I hate to be a disbeliever, but I see a few obvious differences that make me believe its a counterfeit

1. The "bar" above the date is longer and further from the obverse image than the real one.

2. The font of the date is different, ie bottom of the "1", curls on the bottoms of the "7s"

3. The details around the obverse image are absent on your coin (the leafs or branches on the real coin)

4. Might be worn down or just a bad photo, but the border around the reverse image on yours looks smooth rather than a "rope style" border on the real coin.

Just my 2 pennies and few observations to consider...

I do hope for your sake it's the real deal!

Having looked at it close, on the 1, it does curl its just faded and half missing, and in terms of the border, it is actually a rope, you can make it out in the right light, each individual line....

Where would be the best place to find out if its real or not, and say if it is... in that condition how much do you think?

Some of your pics are in focus (#3 and #6), so apparently you have a Macro lens, but some are blurry, most likely due to human error. Try holding very steady or use a tripod. It also may be that you are not pausing to let the automatic lens focus when you push the button. Push halfway, pause to focus, keep the camera steady and take the picture. Crop and post. :icon_thumright:

More on #4:
Probably mainly worn or kept as a talisman. They were produced in various sizes and metals, including silver, brass, copper and pewter. They are all of one type: The obverse depicts St. George on horseback, thrusting his lance at a dragon. It has the legend, 'S GEORGIVS EQVITVM PATRONVS' (St. George, protector of knights). The reverse depicts a ship with a taut sail on a rough sea, and Christ on the deck with terrified fishermen. A wind blows through a small cloud into the sail. The legend is 'IN TEMPESTATE SECVRITAS' (Safety, or security in the storm)

The royal monogram is surrounded with the inscription "LEOPOLD PREMIER ROI DES BELGES" (Leopold the First King of the Belgians)

A lion, symbol of Belgium, with a paw over the Belgian Constitution dating 1931. Around is the Belgian motto "L'union fait la force" (Unity creates Strength)
