Hello folks,

I'm new to the site and new to metal detecting. I've been wanting one for a while and finally got a ACE 250 for my birthday in September. I've been out digging up my yard and other places ever since lol.

I live in Pitt County, NC which is in the eastern part of the state. I've found tons of bottle caps, pull tabs, beer cans and a handful of modern pennies. Yesterday however I finally found my first treasure, right in my own front yard. I found a Union Eagle C button, very cool.

Today, the rest of the yard comes up! lol...
